Challenges

Rain Delays: We’ve experienced four additional weather days beyond the 5-year NOAA average.

Active Campus Environment: Ensuring student safety and access to campus while managing construction activities.

Schedule Pressures: Our team is diligently seeking ways to expedite progress without compromising safety or quality. (Liquidated damages of $40,000 per day).

Soil Remediation Issues: Ongoing discoveries of unsuitable soils and old concrete basements around parking areas.

Site Constraints: Limited space for material laydown, parking, and equipment, necessitating careful coordination of deliveries.

Every construction project presents unique challenges, but with our skilled and dedicated team, we are confident in our ability to deliver a high-quality facility on time. Thank you to NC A&T and our trade partners for their continued support and collaboration as we move forward!
